Agents get firsthand look at new SinglePoint at Big Event
They like what they see at MAIA’s annual trade show
We were a little nervous coming into the Big Event last week, knowing agents would be eager to test drive the new SinglePoint. When you are exhibiting at a trade show, there are so many things out of your control and so many potential problems that can occur. Will the Internet connection work? Will it be fast enough? Did we load all the software in the right production environment to demo properly? Will the software crash? Will there be unexpected bugs? You can imagine what it is like.
Well, I’m happy to report that everything went well and agents really seemed to like our new comparative rater. Hundreds of agents, carrier reps and vendors got firsthand experience with SinglePoint. Although the hotel Internet connection was slow every now and then, SinglePoint worked like a charm. No bugs or embarrassing crashes. Most importantly, we heard only positive comments about SinglePoint. Agents were genuinely impressed by the efficient workflow and the simplicity of the interface.
The version we showed at the trade show is the latest beta (test) version of SinglePoint Rating, which includes fully functioning Auto and Home rates. However, we are still finishing work on some key features and functionality, specifically Real-Time Submission, Forms, integrations with Agency Management Systems, and Dwelling Fire/Umbrella rating. We expect to iterate through a number of versions over the next couple months to add this functionality.
Eager to begin using it, agents wonder when SinglePoint will be available
The first question agents asked after seeing the new SinglePoint was, “When can I get it?”
We will begin making this beta version available to agents in mid-November. If you would like to begin using it, please send me an email and I will add you to our list.
BUT REMEMBER … this version will only have the Auto and Home rating functionality. It will not have Real-Time Submission, Forms, integrations with Agency Management Systems, and Dwelling Fire/Umbrella rating.
So, if you are an agency that needs these other features you will have to wait a little longer and continue using WinRater. We will begin sending out new versions through December and January that include the above-mentioned functionality.
