Good news! Andover Insurance will begin Real-Time Rating in SinglePoint for its homeowners business beginning June 25, 2021.
For a brief period, agents will also have access to the Andover manufactured rates to assure a smooth transition.
SinglePoint will handle all of this. However, please note that you will need to add your Andover UserID and password in SinglePoint Settings. Here’s how:
- At the top of the menu bar, select SinglePoint Settings
- Select Carrier and Third Party Credentials
- Scroll down to the Andover section and add your credentials
- Select Save Changes
IMPORTANT: Andover will perform a credit lookup as part of the real-time rating process. During this process they will determine which writing company — Merrimack, Cambridge, or Bay State — the risk qualifies for and return this premium in SinglePoint.
To open a quote that was previously saved with manufactured rates, make sure that you add “Andover RT” rates to the quote.
Real-Time Submission will be available, too. No more rekeying all data into the Andover website. SinglePoint will bridge over the data to it.
