In August 2021, the RMV launched Electronic Vehicle Registration (EVR) Lite so that insurance agents could register and title vehicles electronically, along with some additional registry transactions. Now almost 100 agencies are harnessing this breakthrough technology and making a real difference for their insureds (and their agency staff). Take a moment to consider all the benefits and whether it makes sense for you to apply.
Your customers will love not having to go to the RMV or waiting for a runner or the mail to get their docs and get on the road.
SinglePoint eliminates the back and forth, so when your insured calls and asks how to get their new car on the road, you can service them on the spot!
SinglePoint is tightly integrated with the RMV ATLAS system so it’s nearly impossible to make mistakes when completing an RTA, registering and titling a vehicle, etc.
Handling these RMV services will differentiate your agency from other agencies and help you grow your book of business.
Others are processing EVR transactions ...why let the competition get ahead and take your customers?
No more waiting game! With EVR Lite, your agency processes and prints temporary plates and Registrations and your insureds drive their newly-purchased vehicles as soon as they pay the RMV fees.
Your customers won’t have to take a day off from work to go to the RMV branch to wait in line. No more runners either, which can often take 1-2 days.
With the help of SinglePoint, you can handle the entire transaction so customers know it is done right. SinglePoint workflow prevents you from making mistakes and thus the transaction is complete.
Over 100 MA agencies are currently enjoying more success now that they are processing EVR Lite transactions in SinglePoint. Click here to read a few of their testimonials.
Submit the form below to begin the approval process.
The first thing you need to do is prove to the RMV that your agency processes at least 10 new RTAs or Registration transfers every month. To demonstrate you can meet this threshold, you will need to create a list of your RTA volume for the last two months. The list needs only to include your insured names, addresses, and VINs for each RTA you processed over the previous two months. You can save it as a Word or Excel doc.
We have set up a safe, secure, streamlined way of uploading this information to the RMV. Just provide the basic information requested below and we will send you a link for uploading your list. We will also provide you with Word and Excel templates.
Once you upload your list, please allow seven days for the RMV to complete its review. Boston Software and the RMV will send you an email informing you of your approval status. If approved, Boston Software will send you a separate email with a secure link to the EVR Lite Welcome Packet, which details all the forms and requirements to become an EVR Lite agent.
