To fix SinglePoint form printing error, clear browser cache

We posted updates to SinglePoint last night.  Agents are reporting this error when trying to print Forms:

Request Status: 500 Status Text: Internal Server Error

We recommend you clear the cache in your browser to access the latest SinglePoint update.  Here’s how:

  • While in the SinglePoint Form, click CTRL + F5 on your keyboard. This will refresh the browser and clear the cache memory.
  • If this does not clear the problem and you still get the REQUEST STATUS error, click  CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE on your keyboard. This will bring up a window to clear browser history. In the EDGE browser, it looks like this:
  • Select Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data, and Cached data and files.
  • Click Clear
  • This should fix the problem and you should be able to print the form.

Background information:

When you use a browser, like Edge, Chrome, or Firefox to access the Internet, it saves some information from websites in its cache memory.  This makes browsing and using websites easier because it remembers certain settings and helps load pages faster when you revisit.  However, it is highly recommended that you clear the cache if/when you experience certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.  This generally will fix the issues.
